Notice Regarding the Activation of the New Patent Application Entrustment Agreement Template
To all clients and partners:
To standardize the patent agency entrustment process, clarify the rights and obligations of both parties, and enhance contract compliance, Hefei Juso Patent Agency Co., Ltd. has revised and improved its original "Patent Application Entrustment Agreement."The new agreement template is officially effective as of the date of this notice.The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
I. Scope of the New Agreement
Effective from the activation date, all newly engaged patent application services (including invention, utility model, and design patent applications, as well as responses to office actions) will use the new agreement template. Projects under the previous version of the agreement that are still ongoing will continue to be governed by the original contract terms and do not require re-signing.
II. Key Changes in This Revision
Refine the service project list, clarify the scope of patent agency services, and distinguish between agency fees and official fees charged by the China National Intellectual Property Administration.
Clearly define fee standards, payment milestones, and refund policies, ensuring consistency with the "Patent Agency Service Fee Standards" published on the official website.
Supplement agreements on submission of both parties' information, confidentiality of technical data, and compliance with timelines.
Update IP-related regulatory basis, optimize dispute resolution clauses, and reduce legal risks in collaboration.
Include supplementary agreements on fee reduction applications, case file delivery, and notification delivery methods.
3. Related Notes
A new agreement template will be provided by the business liaison during project initiation. Prior to signing, our representative will explain key terms—including service scope, fees, and duration—to the client.
The Client may review and confirm the agreement terms based on their specific needs. For any questions, please contact your dedicated business consultant or customer service.
Old protocol templates will no longer be used for new business agreements.
